Blue Fin Tuna (thunnus thynnus) - Blue Fin are deep sea tuna that are fished commercially and for sport. They are very fun to catch and put up a big fight. Blue fin tuna are usually cut into cubes or steaks and tastes very good.

Yellow Fin Tuna (thunnus albacares) - Yellow fin are deep sea tuna that are fished commercially and for sport. Yellow fin are fun to catch, and are usually cut into stakes or cubes and tastes very good.

Bonito (Sarda sarda) - Also called Bonita, these fishes are very smart and very tricky. They are wonderful game fish and are extremely tasty.

Striped Sea Bass (morone saxatilis) - Strippers are fun to catch and they put up a good fight. Plus they are great for flaying.

Blue Fish (pomatomus saltator) Blue fish are right of the beaches of Martha's Vineyard and are fun to catch with small rods. Snapper Blues put up one heck of a fight and are great for flaying.

Fluke (platichthys flesus} Fluke are sometimes called summer flounder, and like to bury themselves in the sand. They are fun to catch and are great for flaying.

Scup (stenotomus chrysops) Scup are fun to catch and they are everywhere around the cape. Scup are smaller but, they put up such a good little fight.

Cod Fish (gadus morhua) The cod fish is Cape Cod's "catch". They are fun to catch and taste very good. Cod is most popular in "fish n' chips."

Blue Shark (prionace glauca) If you want excitement ask for a shark charter. Sharks are great game fish and put up a tremendous fight. |
